Where Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone??

Wasn't it yesterday I shopped for tiny little dresses and party shoes that seemed would never fit her? Now she's my size in the blink of an eye and isn't she just too cute? :::::grin:::::: Pardon me while I call Louisville Slugger, middle school starts in a couple of weeks and I think I need to have my stash by the door.

You've heard of fun in a box? Well, here's fun in a TENT! The kids have been pleading with Daddy to buy them a tent so they can "camp out" on the deck. Both Daddy and I have our own memories of childhood camping nights (though I strongly suspect that his campground memories beat my dark, woodsy backyard memories hands down). Well, Daddy had a gift certificate to spend at a particular store and while his own desires were for a new food processor, the kids' own lucky charm must have been working his magic because they were sold out,but they had....you guessed it TENTS. Fast forward three days. Take one UPS truck, 2 little boys and 5 minutes of Daddy's time, mix well and you get....


some very happy campers! I will say that due all the rain we've been having, they've not really had a chance to use their new hideout,but it's not for lack of trying or asking. Darn midwestern T & L storms are just not worth the risk. I'm sure it will get use in the coming weeks though.
