Just a Quickie...

Evening Friends! Just thought I'd give you a quick update. It's been 4 days since my last visit to the L &D unit. I'm still resting, drinking my water and generally being a lump on a log. Still contracting and despite my daughter's insistence that I call the dr, I know when I need to and when I don't. Granted, I shouldn't start contx just by having to get up to get a drink or such for 15mins,but I am. Tomorrow, I have a late afternoon checkup with OB and among other fun (not) tests run at this point in any pregnancy, I'm sure I'll get an earful about what exactly 'bedrest' means for me. The general consensus from those who see me often are that I will be on 'strict' bedrest as of tomorrow; we'll see.
Meanwhile, we've made it another week that the young princess has stayed put....keep on cooking little girl!
I'll update tomorrow night or the next when I can to let you know the doc's advice.

And if anyone happens to have an "in" with George Carlin, let him know I said he can add BEDREST to his infamous list of oxymorons! LOL
