The ying and the yang?

Last night I poured my heart out in a post all about my day yesterday. Ironically, I "previewed" it and lost it. Not sure where it went, but POOF! it was gone. Just as well I suppose as yesterday was not a good day for me. Well, ok the day part was ok,but the night was really bad. It included elements just right for a teen sitcom, chaos in the a.m. of a large family trying to get ready at once to go to two different churches because they can't all agree on one. Toddlers not so quietly playing and voicing their feelings of wanting to go home "right now" instead of staying for the service. Meeting teen's former acquaintance in the church lobby and not recognizing the girl because of her makeup (and too much of it in my not so humble opinion) hence the discussion later between us about why makeup on a 13yo is not necessary; especially as much as said acquaintance was wearing. Church is followed with a reptile show at the local library. Nothing like snakes, tarantulas, various species of cockroaches and other creepy crawlers to make Mom squeemish. Afterward, Dad goes to work while mom attempts to make a quiet supper. Baby gets hungry, other 4 kids get boisterous. Mom serves dinner and goes to feed baby. Moments later mom & baby's silence is broken by cries and screaming because a food fight has broken out in the kitchen (first and hopefully the last!!). Teen daughter's favorite outfit is now covered in salsa. After instructing her on how to soak the stain out, a most unpleasant scent fills the air and we see 2yo old wiping something on his shirt and I'll leave it to your imagination what it was. Here's a hint, our only pets are fish. I remedy that situation and not long after the 4yo tattles that the 2yo got into the bathroom and made a mess. Big puddle on the floor, toilet is filled with tissues. Thankfully, I was able to clean it all up and there were no plumbing problems. After much lecturing, yelling etc ensues and still children are not going to their rooms and staying there, Mom cannot help but ask why in the world she had these lovely little monsters and how on Earth she has survived this long; they behave so well for everyone else!
The night ends in relative peace. Mother and teen daughter spend an hour or so talking about girl stuff while all brothers are asleep. Conversation is briefly halted when oldest boy sleepwalks and tells Mom many times over in a very toddler like voice that he is sorry for SCARING THE COWS IN HER BEDROOM! Now *that* was very funny and it was hard not to laugh while he truly believed it. Ahhhh the joys of witless dreamland!
It kind of made all the chaos earlier in the day worth it. Kind of ::::wink::::
Today was a moody day too,but ended with pizza, birthday cake and playing catch outside with the oldest son which I really do enjoy, while the two little ones (the littlest one especially) ran to and fro trying to catch and throw too. Watching the little guy (who is built like a linebacker) running around the cul de sac in his jammies and little bare feet calling out "Mee Mee, MEE frow ball" is just too darn cute.
And the best comment of the day? I pointed to my three sons and said, "You will be my Patriot, You will be my Red Sox and You will be my Celtic" My Celtic candidate stopped, leaned his head forward with a true look of sincerity, lay his hand on his chest and said, "No Mom, * I * am going to be your personal chef!" Well ok then, I'm not seeing a problem. ::::::::::smile:::::::::::

Someone please tell me where to buy a bottle to hold all this sweetness in, time is already slipping away. Any magic potions for keeping her a newborn for awhile longer?
